Berlianda Script: A Handwritten Font That Elevates Campaign Visuals

Choosing the Right Font for a Product Launch Graphic

I was finalizing visuals for a client’s new skincare line launch and needed a font that would convey elegance without feeling too formal. Berlianda Script caught my eye in the font browser—not just for its cursive beauty, but because it felt personal, like a handwritten note from the brand to its audience. I dropped it into the hero graphic for the campaign’s Instagram post and immediately saw how it softened the overall look while still commanding attention.

Visual Style and Brand Personality

Berlianda Script is a fluid, handwritten font with a distinctly warm and feminine touch. Its sweeping curves and natural rhythm give it a sense of movement, making it feel less like a static typeface and more like a signature. It carries a playful yet refined personality—ideal for brands that want to feel approachable but still premium.

It’s not overly ornate like some script fonts can be, which makes it versatile for modern branding. Whether used in a logo-style header or as a featured element in a promotional graphic, Berlianda Script communicates a sense of authenticity and craftsmanship. It pairs especially well with minimalist layouts where the font itself becomes the design highlight.

Testing Berlianda Script Across Campaign Assets

I used Berlianda Script across several campaign assets: an Instagram post, a Pinterest pin, a YouTube thumbnail, and a promotional email banner. In each case, it performed best when used for short, impactful text—like headlines, callouts, or quote overlays.

Readability and Digital Visibility

One thing to note: Berlianda Script is a display font, not a body font. It shines in headlines and short text blocks but loses clarity when scaled down or used in long paragraphs. On mobile, where fast-scrolling dominates, it’s crucial to use this font at a legible size—ideally 20px or larger for overlays.

For dark backgrounds, I recommend using a lighter color or adding a subtle drop shadow to help the text pop. On light backgrounds, a soft pastel or metallic shade can make the font feel more luxurious without sacrificing contrast.

When Berlianda Script Isn’t the Best Fit

While it’s incredibly expressive, Berlianda Script isn’t suited for every situation. I avoided using it in:

Its handwritten nature can feel too whimsical for high-tech or formal industries. It also doesn’t work well in situations where speed reading is essential, like digital ads with multiple messaging layers.

Font Pairing and Design Workflow

Pairing Berlianda Script with a clean sans serif—like Montserrat or Lato—helped balance the design and maintain visual hierarchy. For example, I used Berlianda for the headline and a bold sans serif for the supporting text in a webinar banner. This combo gave the design both personality and clarity.

If you’re designing a brand kit or template pack, consider using Berlianda Script for logo-style headers or branded quote graphics. It also works well in packaging design, especially for artisanal or boutique-style products where a personal touch is desired.

Technical Considerations and Licensing

Before deploying Berlianda Script in live campaigns, I checked the font’s technical specs. It includes multiple stylistic alternates and ligatures, which allowed for subtle customization. The font supports multilingual characters and comes in both OTF and TTF formats—making it compatible with most design tools and platforms.

Commercial licensing is important for marketers, especially when creating templates or branded assets for clients. I made sure the font’s license covered use in digital ads, social media kits, and product packaging. Always double-check licensing terms before using any premium font in revenue-generating content.
